Fire crews in Plaquemines Parish were working to put out a brush fire near a drainage ditch and wooded area off Landry Lane. They coordinated hose lengths, water use from the tank, and equipment such as a ladder to reach remaining smoldering spots. Units discussed hydrant locations near a ferry landing, noted that one hydrant was not working and another was hard to access because of high grass, and adjusted engine positions to get a better angle on the last areas that were still burning.
