Smoke from microwave prompts fire response

Fire crews and medical teams were sent to a report of a house fire on Rawlings Street. Multiple engines, a truck, and medic units were dispatched for a possible structure fire at a two-story single-family home. While units were responding, the caller reported that there was no active fire and that smoke was coming from a microwave. Responding units adjusted their speed, and the first crews arrived to find nothing visible from the outside. Command was established on scene and additional units continued in at a reduced priority. No active fire was found.
