Suspicious person flees in car, later stopped

A caller reported seeing an unknown man in their backyard near Del Paso Road and Truxel Road. The man ran to a tan Toyota Avalon with no license plates, which had another man inside, and drove away. The caller followed briefly in another car but lost sight of the Avalon near Maple Crest Street. Officers searched the area. The Avalon was later located near Golden Elm, stopped, and watched. Someone came out from a nearby residence, handed a bag to the passenger, and the Avalon drove off eastbound on Island Oak Avenue. Officers then found the vehicle stopped again on Island Oak Avenue near White Sage Street with one person inside and contacted the occupant.
