I was just approached by a citizen here at Dixie and Elm.

They're advising that while they were driving on Dixie Highway near 75,

a car went off the road, hit a telephone pole, knocking it completely down.

Sounds like the vehicle took off,

possibly turned down Turnip or Detroit Avenue.

It is described as a black.

Negative. We had one caller say that they were at Hurd and Dixie, possibly going down Hurd, and then we had another officer saying that it was going down Dixie.
