Two-vehicle crash with two people evaluated by EMS

Emergency crews responded to a two-car collision on a local street. A woman in her forties, driving a sport utility vehicle at about 60 miles per hour, crashed into a small sedan and stopped in the middle of the road. She was wearing a seat belt and was found sitting upright in her vehicle. She showed erratic behavior but reported no head, neck, or back pain and had no clear signs of physical injury. She was taken to Sharp Memorial for further evaluation.

The other driver, a 27-year-old man in the small sedan, was also wearing a seat belt and was able to get out of his vehicle on his own. His car had front-end damage. He complained of pain and a small swelling on his lower leg but denied other injuries or pain. His breathing, circulation, and awareness were reported as normal. He requested medical evaluation for his leg injury.
