Driver reports suspected gas theft on Main Street

My caller is a book saleswoman was at the library for a meeting for approximately 1 h .

She states that she filled her vehicle with gas before going to her meeting, and she just left the meeting, got down to the freeway, and realized that she only has a quarter tank of gas now.

She believes someone's siphoned the gas out of her vehicle while she was in the meeting.

I'm clear.

And unless you can catch it on camera from the courthouse camera system or something, she acknowledges there's not really much that you can do.

She just wants you to be aware of it, get some extra patrol, and does not need backup.
