Fire crews respond to a report of water in the basement of a building near Clinton Street. They enter through an unlocked back door and find that people have removed the copper pipes from the building. Water is leaking and there is no way to shut it off inside, so the water must be turned off at the street. The front of the building is marked as a law office. The owner is reached by phone but cannot come to the scene, and plans to contact someone else to respond while the water department is requested.
