Officers check on woman walking in highway roadway

Officers received several calls about a woman walking in the roadway along Highway 31 near a tire business and an intersection. She had earlier been at Scott Memorial Hospital and said security and a doctor told her to leave while she was waiting for medical transport. She reported that her brother was supposed to pick her up the previous night but never arrived. Officers located her, checked on her welfare, and one officer provided her with a courtesy transport to another location.
