Woods fire reported near Broad River Greenway

Radio traffic reports a fire in the wooded area near Broad River Greenway. The fire is on the same side as the ranger station, across Gaffney Road, about 150 to 250 yards into the woods and roughly 50 to 60 yards from the river. It appears to be a moderate campfire or small bonfire. Fire crews from Boiling Springs are dispatched to a woods or grass fire in this area near Riverside Road with nearby cross streets Anthony Lake Drive and Broad River Drive. There is also a brief note that a patient has already been admitted and the transport is canceled, but the main incident is the woods fire.
