As discussed during the dispatch call, officers were dispatched to an apartment building on Shirley Street after a third-floor resident reported hearing a possible person or animal in the main hallway. The resident, who was alone and had a heart condition, was hesitant to leave his unit. A second unit was sent, and the reporting party’s address was later updated to a location on Marshall Street in Somerville.
