Pedestrian hit and taken from scene by vehicle

S Belvoir Blvd & Mayfield Rd, South Euclid, OH 44121

Officers were sent to the intersection of South Belvoir and Mayfield for a crash where a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle. The person who was hit uses a wheelchair. Witnesses reported that the driver who struck the pedestrian picked the person up, put them in the same vehicle, and then drove away from the scene. The vehicle was described as a white sport utility vehicle or van, and no one was able to provide the license plate number. During the same radio traffic, officers were also sent to a house on Elmwood for a disturbance involving a man yelling at a party.
