Fire crews investigate burning smell in home

Fire crews were dispatched to a home near Captains Walk for a reported residential structure fire. Multiple engines, a ladder truck, rescue units, and medical crews responded. On arrival, they found a single-story wood-frame house with nothing visible from the outside. Firefighters entered the home, went into the attic, and checked the heating and cooling system. They detected an odor and burning smell throughout the house that seemed to come from that area. Everyone at the scene was reported to be fine, and the incident focused on locating the source of the burning odor.
