Hit-and-run crash involving white pickup in Surprise

Police are dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at North Parkview Place and West Mountain View Boulevard in Surprise. One vehicle, described as a white Chevy Silverado pickup, leaves the scene. A witness in the other car follows the pickup and calls in, later meeting officers near a Subway at the northwest corner of the intersection. The witness reports that the pickup hit a white four-door car, then drove away. The driver of the pickup returns to the scene area, speaks to the witness, says he wants to leave, becomes upset about being recorded, and tries to start his vehicle.
