since there's no shelters for them to go to to shower and clean up and get some sleep they are going to look for any dry spot they can and do some drugs to numb the pain. I was going to be a lot more overdoses like they're already has as the weather gets colder. it is Despicable that our mayor has not transferred funds to get a adequate shelter open 24/7. make the people who are volunteering help out. all the people we have in Pierce County and hardly anyone volunteers. it is despicable! and the people who were working at the Nativity Center and collecting a paycheck were dead way. for the mayor to shut it down was stupid. it's not lack of funding it was lack of funding being utilized to the fullest extent. no clock on the wall no calendar. the place was a s*** show. she needs to get off her ass and get that place up and running adequately. too many 60-year-old seniors with a $650 check and no place to go walking the streets because they do not reach out and get them housed.
