Medical Response for Ill Male on Trip Street, Ames

As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatch directed Rescue One to respond to a medical emergency involving a 66-year-old male experiencing uncontrollable shaking, chills, and possible infection in the groin area. Rescue One and Tower One arrived on scene at Trip Street in Ames, Iowa. Command coordination occurred between responding units, and a landing zone for air medical support was discussed. Sawyer Elementary and Ames Middle School fields were considered, with the latter selected as the landing site. Units proceeded to the middle school to prepare for the landing.
