Deputies pursue speeding truck near River Rd

As discussed during the dispatch call, deputies were involved in a possible vehicle pursuit of a dark-colored pickup truck, described as an older model, traveling at high speeds along River Road near the chemical plant and Sweet Pea Lane. The driver reportedly turned off vehicle lights and passed other cars in no-passing zones before heading toward Wagner. Officers temporarily lost sight of the vehicle during the pursuit near the levee.
