Fire crews responded to a report of an electrical hazard caused by a wire down in an alley between First and Second Street, with access from near South Street. On arrival they found that a line had been pulled from the side of a house, likely by ice. They determined it was a communications wire, not a power line, and confirmed there was no power outage in the area. The wire was lying across part of the road, and they worked to identify the company responsible so it could be notified to clear the obstruction.
