Dog barking at basement door prompts police check

We have a call on (number withheld) that states her dog is down in the basement barking at something, so that's not customary for her dog to do that.

They do have a door that's in the basement that goes to the outside that is not attached to an alarm system, and she'd like somebody to come check it out.
