Police secure school after concern about man in car

Officers responded to concern about a man in a vehicle near a school. They identified his vehicle details and tried to reach him by phone, but he did not have his phone with him. The school was told to lock down, with nobody allowed in or out while officers watched the vehicle from nearby. The man was seen sitting in the driver seat and later lying back in the passenger seat. Officers checked whether cameras showed him arriving and whether he had a weapon, and they requested extra safety equipment and a dog unit as a precaution. The man’s wife told officers there should be no weapons in the car and that she had brought him to the school to meet with a psychologist, after which he went back to the car and fell asleep.
