Fire crew checks home after alarm, no hazard found

Fire crews responded to a home on Georgetown Road after a detector alarm and concern about carbon monoxide. The house had already been ventilated before firefighters arrived. They checked the home using carbon monoxide detectors and found zero readings throughout. The furnace was operated during the check and still no carbon monoxide was detected. The homeowner was advised to inspect the alarm, ensure there are multiple detectors on the level, and contact the alarm company for service. With no hazard found, the incident was cleared and units returned to service.
