We have a patient. He's a thirty-nine year old male coming from the ED at Westmoreland County Hospital.

He's being transferred with a diagnosis of appendicitis.

Concerns that he might be in DIC, which is why they requested plate.

Currently, the patient is alert and oriented.

He is complaining of five out of ten pain to his right lower.

Quadrant, he's received a liter of normal saline,

8 mg of Zofran, and 1.5 mg of Dilaudid total.
