Police respond to reports of a robbery and shooting near the 7-Eleven and Better Living on Woodbrook Drive. A store manager reports that three people may have robbed another person beside the building and then fired shots at the victim while the victim was in a vehicle. The three suspects left on foot, reportedly running northbound, and their exact location is not known. Officers clear the parking lot, search the area, and identify a vehicle that was hit. Around the same time, officers are notified that a person with a gunshot wound has walked into UVA Hospital. A possible suspect description is given as a man around 25 years old wearing a black jacket, but his current location is unknown. Police begin setting up a crime scene area and send units to the hospital to follow up.
