Motorcyclist injured in freeway crash

Emergency medical staff report transporting a 20-year-old man to the hospital after a motorcycle crash on the freeway. He was riding a street bike at about 70 to 80 miles per hour, went over the center divider, and ended up about 100 yards from his motorcycle. He has abrasions on his left arm, cuts on both knees, pain in his right lower arm, and lower back pain. He briefly lost consciousness and does not remember the crash, but is now awake, talking, moving all limbs, and breathing normally. His vital signs are stable, and he has no known medical history or medications. He was wearing a full-face helmet but no other protective riding gear.
