A woman was bit by 1 of 2 loose dogs in the neighborhood. The cops showed up and talked to us while walking our dog and the 2 dogs came up to us. They were friendly at first. Then when we tried to walk away, the large dog bit my husband. Our small dog got scared and slipped out of his collar and both dogs ran after our dog. I was sobbing because I thought for sure the big dog was going to catch our dog and hurt him. Luckily our dog knows our route and ran straight home to safety and our kids got him in to the house uninjured!! It was an exhausting and terrifying evening!! Both dogs had on collars with no identifying info. The large dog was all black, probably weighing 80 lbs. The small dog was white and brown with a shitzu type face, probably weighing 10 pounds. Found in the area of South Walnut and Monroe.
